A Shofar invitation

Thank you for visiting my personal website.  I have been a congregational rabbi for more than 39 years serving in Hattiesburg, MS, Las Cruces, NM, and Elberon, NJ.

In July 2025 I began the next phase of my rabbinate as an interim rabbi by serving Temple Shir Shalom in Gainesville, Florida. In July 2026, I began serving Congregation B'nai Israel in Boca Raton, FL as Senior Interim Rabbi. This website will give you a look into my life, experience, and services, interests and skills.

WorshipVideos

Many services I have officiated at in New Jersey and now in Florida are either archived or online on YouTube.  New Jersey video end in May 2025. Florida videos begin in July 2026.

Podcasts

In addition to my own podcast, I speak occasionally with Rabbi Steven Garten in his weekly podcast from Ottawa, Ontario on radio station CHRI.

Over the years, I have always sought to create deep, abiding, and positive relationships. I love preaching and take it as a great responsibility and opportunity for teaching.  Selected sermons and blogs are in podcast form, as well, just below. They are all downloadable and shareable.
